Routes and ports
Exports leave Nhava Sheva or Mundra for Le Havre on the Atlantic coast or Marseille (Fos) on the Mediterranean. Le Havre serves northern France and Paris, while Marseille serves the south.
Typical transit times
- Ocean FCL: approximately 18 to 28 days depending on the port and routing.
- Air freight: generally 2 to 5 days to Paris (Charles de Gaulle).
EU import requirements
- The EU importer needs an EORI number.
- CE marking may apply to regulated products.
- ISPM-15 treated wood packaging is required.
